Andreas Gnibba
Painting (Watercolor, Acrylic, Pastel, Mixed Media)

Andreas’s paintings explore atmosphere, light, and the shifting boundary between the visible and the suggested. Working in watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and mixed media, he moves between observation and abstraction, allowing forms to emerge, dissolve, and remain open to interpretation.
About Andreas Gnibba
Andreas developed an early and intensive interest in painting during his school years, studying with German artist and art educator Eduard Bufé. He successfully passed the entrance examination for the Faculty of Art and Design at the Fachhochschule Köln (predecessor of Köln International School of Design), but ultimately chose to study engineering.
In the early 2020s, he returned to painting alongside his professional career. He continued his artistic training at Freie Kunstschule Köln with artist and lecturer Alexander Rudy.
